645D does Yosemite

OK, here are some images from Yosemite this weekend.
645D, 45-85mm fa, 75mm fa, 120mm A, 150mm FA, and 300mm fa.
Mostly B&W stuff, but I tossed in a few color images.
Steven

I like the B&W falls and mist. You might put a blank line between the images to make it easier to view them individually. They run together as-is.

I like the framing in numbers 6 and 7 best.

Nice shots, Mr Adams!

What is the code to put a blank line in between images?

There is no code, just put some empty lines in between the IMG codes/tags.
Anyway, awesome images! I especially like the reflection in no. 2 & 3.

Wow and wow. The last two in particular are captivating. The mist and low clouds really add depth to the already massive scale of the shots. I like.

Slightly OT, but when did you go to Yosemite? Recently? How were the roads? Did they require chains?

I'm thinking of making a visit sometime soon but was wondering if any roads were closed.

*edit* This weekend. Haha. I'm dumb, no need to answer that question.

Nice pics! They look so "medium format." Really though, I especially like the last one.

Wow! You had real good luck!

I used to call Yosemite Valley my "backyard" (when still in the Bay area"), and I go often enough to know the kind of fog not to form often. On my 15+ winter stays only saw it once, 12/26/2003 (the reason I can easily remember the date).

Congratulations!

Superb images, though the first image has a speck of dust visible near the top left corner. I would like to know which was the lens you made the most use of. I'm very interested in hearing about the 645 45~85mm f/4.5 Zoom lens, considering I only have the primes from 35mm~600mm for the Pentax 645, i'm eager to hear how this lens performs.

Splendid images, all of them Steven. I imagine them printed 80x60 inches on the walls of an empty room with an armchair in the center.
Thanks for posting.

a question: how are you processing into black and white? It is an amazing conversion.
