That is what I'm thinking. I measured my PQ1 classe 10 card in my K-5 and came up to 18 MB/s writespeed. So a SanDisk is somewhat faster but I still have to see that.
Maybe someone can measure it.
Basicly is it filling the buffer and thus creating more datat to write then the PRIME-II processor can handle and time everything.
Make a burst of 15 pictures and time it until the red light goes out. -> total amount of data is a measurement of processorspeed and datatwritetime.
Make a burst of 25 pictures and time it until the red light goes out. -> the extra amount of data to write in the extra time it takes is just the writespeed (give or take some margin of error).
