Pentax 6x7 TTL Prism and non metered.

Is there any difference between the two prisms except for the metering?

Thanks in advance.

The std prism lacks the shutter speed bridge of the TTL.

non metered prism

Just an eye level viewfinder, no more no less.

Might be an obvious answer to this question, but will the 67 work normally without a prism/viewfinder attached at all?

Thought so. Been trying it without prism and a strong loupe for checking critical focus. Works quite well.

If you're gonna do that, might as well get a chimney hood or a WLF. They have magnification built in and shield the stray light for you.

Yeah I was considering that. What level of magnification do those finders give you? Anymore than the screw on attachment for the eye level finders?

I have the folding WLF and believe it is 1.5X but PF's database says it's 1.6X and I can't find my brochure. The rigid chimney hood has, according to PF's database, a 1.3X magnification with eye adjustment.

Wish I could find one of those rigid chimney magnifiers. I ordered one from KEH last year....but what they shipped me was actually a waist level finder. I kept it, since it was in such great shape, but I'm still looking for the rigid magnifier.
