[langtitle=da]Pentax 67 split image screen[/langtitle]

I need split image screen for P67.
Where can I get one, please?
Don't need to be a split field screen - just good enough for studio use.

Im buy used near 40 USD + shipping, from died body. Prior I write Bill Maxwell - 205 USD without shipping and today see one INTENSCREEN on 149USD. You know, then you set focus by split - you cant normal focusing on matted field, its not good for studio work.

Focus mattes for the 6x7/67 are hard to find let alone a split image one. You can, however, look for a 67II screen. They come in a holder that you can remove it from. They are thinner too but will fit. I put a 67II grid matte in one of my 6x7s.

They are brighter so it could possibly affect the metered TTL prism but I use a WLF so it doesn't matter. They also make an even brighter 67II matte for slower telephoto lenses and no doubt will affect the metered TTL prism. I picked my matte up at a camera store that still had some old inventory of them. The model numbers for different 67II mattes include:
  • BB-61 (BB-81) Matte screen with a split-image
  • BJ-61 (BJ-81) Grid-lined with a split-image matte

Numbers in ( ) are the brighter telephoto screens. I'd note changing the matte on a 6x7/67 requires some very small jeweler screw driver and you need to make a really small spanner wrench unless you can find one to remove the front prism guide pins that also act as fasteners. There are some very small brass shims under the shroud common to the guide pins so be careful not to lose one.
