Hello. What are the views, if we compare these lenses? Interested in image quality. If there are examples of the photo - it would be good.
AF for macro is not the most important thing. Which one to buy for Pentax 645D

I'd get the A- a while back I tested them side-by-side and favored it over the FA in terms of both IQ and handling.

Eduard:

I have both. Image quality and optical design are identical. The A version has more solid feel and is better for manual focus with a much longer throw than the FA. FA version is better only if you need AF.

Very slight blue/cyan at the edges of the frame. I only see it in the areas with extreme contrast, e.g. dark tree branch against a bright white sky. Easy fix in PS, but in most cases I don't bother.

I'm quite happy with the 120 A macro. This one is pretty close to 1:1.
