I use a Feisol CF tripod that I formerly used for my Chamonix 4x5 view camera, and an Arca Swiss P0 head - which has a built in panning feature for panoramics. I've been quite impressed by the P0, though 67 owners may want to use the P1 instead. Yes, I weigh the Feisol down with the centre hook to my backpack.

I have several tripods/heads that I use with my Pentax 67, Pentax 645, Hasselblad and Mamiya TLR cameras. For the Pentax 67, my current tripod/head of choice is the Berlebach 4032 (leveling ball, no center column) wooden tripod with a Bogen 3039 Pro pan tilt head. Here's a pic of that setup with the P67 and 300mm EDIF lens. It works very nicely.

I also like the Gitzo series 4 tripods with a Gitzo pan tilt head. Generally, for the heavier medium format cameras, I prefer a quality pan tilt over a high end ball head, such as the RRS BH-55, which I use on a Gitzo carbon fiber tripod (model 3531) with my Mamiya TLR or Hasselblad 501CM.

I have used a Manfrotto 190CX (CF) tripod with a Manfrotto 480RC2 ball head with my 67 with no problems. If you are worried about vibration, hold the head of the tripod (or press down on the top of the camera) when firing. No big deal. A 1-2kg tripod is fine with the legs expanded last section retracted). Meme to others: not everybody wants to keel-haul a 2-3kg tripod in the outdoors, and I've walked with others using an 8x10 Tachihara and 20kg tripod: guess what? Some of us had to carry his stuff for him!!

I find myself a bit suprized by this "massic law" btw 2-3 kgs re. tripods.

In "wind free" conditions, a Gitzo GT1541T + Manfrotto 484 mini-ball makes it quite good with 645D + any lens.
In more "shaky" conditions, a Gitzo GT2931EX + Manfrotto 468MG ball (both summing not far from 2 Kgs) is thus preferable.
Those two tripods have indeed columns with hooks, making it possible to counter-weight them i.o. to absorb vibrations.

Berlebach makes a really nice head - the Pegasus. Ideal for P645 and telephoto lenses, including the 600mm ED.
