MacBook air and 645d files

The storage issues being aside, what do you guys think about MacBook air handling 645d files? Well, it is kind of too late because I bought it already anyway . . .

I have been suffering with mac mini since I got my D. So this cannot be all that bad. Just bought a 3TB hard drive yesterday too.

OK. Adobe LR3 installation complete. It starts up comparatively fast, much faster than mini. So far so good.

I think you will find the SSD in the Air is going to work really well with your 645D files. I am jealous.

I have to agree with you. The thing really rocks with 645d files. Of course this is coming from someone who was used to the snail pace of mac mini, but because of faster chip, and also with SSD, it handles the large files very nicely. I love the thing. I just now need to figure out the optimal workflow that does not waste SSD space.
