Switch is off, but everything still on.

When I switch the 645 off, almost everything is still on. The shutter won't fire, but you can change modes, ISO, exp comp, and even turn the LCD light on. Is this normal? I looked through the book, but did not find mention of this issue.

It's normal. We are talking about the original 645 film camera, right?
