645 120mm FA

The 120mm is widely regarded as one the sharpest lenses for the Pentax 645. Although I've used it many times, the sharpness of lens still amazes me sometimes. I took some fall shots yesterday and upon pixel peeping noticed a hawk I had not seen. Crop is scaled up (PS) by a factor of 5 (width of 200 pixels to 1000). No sharpening or lens correction. Low, far branch near right center.

The A version is just as nice except the AF is a little slower. This is a pano with a 100% crop taken through the hotel window--not optical glass.

Agree and the A is much better to focus for macro with its longer throw..
