hi-speed flash sync

i bought a 75mm f2.8 ls lens used last week,that was made for the 645 film camera.the 645 d's owners manual explained how to use it.i set the camera to manual, and set the shutter speed and apature by hand,also you must cock the shutter to focus or even see through the lens.took some natural light shots and got sharp pics.hooked a vivitar272 flash with the sync cord plugged into the lens socket set it to 1/500 sec andf2.8 and got good shots out to 25 ft.the vivitar 285hv is supposed to work out to 70 ft. i have had the 272 since 1975 and the 285 hv i from the same era.

nice to read your experience.
I did the same with 135mm ls and contemporary flashes.
I still regret that there is absolutely no assistance af any automatism, but the AF control led workable with these ls lenses, not even focal recognition. The 645 N2 is even better than 645D for their use...

did you have any size restrictios on image size with flicker?
do they take raw dng photos?
my raw images run over 50 mpxls

Actually i haven't tried yet uploading raw files, being already disappointed with some video sequences that it didn't take entirely...
