Screens for 67 and 67II

Where do I get good screens with at "Split field" facility? I think the ordinary screen is har to read, especially in dark conditions.

Regards
Jens

I got mine here: japan exposures | films and more (formerly Megaperls Japan Webshop)
They were fast, the product was new and I had no trouble with the customs.

Basically, you get them where you can find them. I've used Japan Exposures before too and second phonoline's experience.

My P67 has a micro prism on the matte. I really feel the micro prism gets the job done. But I use a WLF on my P67 and its built-in magnifying glass makes it really easy to see the micro prism for fine focus.

I used to have the regular focusing screen (which I think is the micro prism) and I usually had problems focusing when I was doing street photography. I happen to be a lot faster with a split-image screen - it feels easier to focus mainly because I can concentrate on the "spot" I want to have sharp. As for landscape or architecture, I'd probably use some other screen but I don't want to change screens that much.

I don't have perfect eyesight (I focus with +1.50D magnifer glasses) but that standard microprism collar and matte screen gets the job done, and very well. If an alternative screen was available that was brighter, I might consider it, but I don't let small nigglies like this get in the way of my work: the job gets done and splendidly with the 67.
