I'd go wider for landscapes, personally...but I'm still of the opinion that the two are pretty close in focal length, so it's going to depend on the look and "feel" that you want. If you say that you didn't see any real difference, then I'd say you have your answer. Go with the one that simply suits you better.

To use the 90 Takumar or 165 LS lenses instead of the 90 Pentax and 165 f/2.8 to avoid shutter bounce issues would not be an advantage. The 90 and 165 are not very prone to shutter vib problems. If the longer lenses had LS, I would say yes, by all means use it.

Note only the 90mm LS can be used in pure leaf shutter mode on a 6x7/67 camera. That is, you can lock open the shutter on the 6x7/67 body in that special mode between X and 1/1000 and using a cable release on the lens of the 90mm trip its leaf shutter. The 165mm LS does not have that capability.
