PK-Tether now works with the 645D!

I'd like to to say that the new version of PK-Tether is now supporting the 645D

How exactly does it work? Do I need some special hardware for it?

Simply download it from PK_Tether | Tethering and remote control software for Pentax DSLR cameras. Install Net 3.5 ,if not already installed. Connect the cam via USB-cable and switch it on.
I've tested it with win 7 64bit (Apple is not working).
But attention, SW is beta! My camera freezed while transfering 9 RAWs in a row (probably a weak battery).

Hello Linus,

thank you, I just tried it out. Everything works fine so far. I only have a problem with the "autosave" (i marked it in the options) and "save" function, as both are not saving pictures on my hard drive. I can only save the pictures through "save as". And also I cannot chose between saving the files as either Jpeg or Raw. It only offers the option to save both formats, even my camera is set to Raw.
But as you mentioned it is still a Beta. Or maybe someone knows how to use the autosave/save function.

How fast is the transfer of a full res JPG to a laptop? Can you load it directly into Lightroom (or Bridge)?

I couldn't load it directly into Lightroom. It only saves Jpeg+Raw files at once. Takes around 6-7 seconds to transfer both files.
Maybe I am doing something wrong.
