Hey guys,

I am wanting to get the 67 to 645 adapter so I can use the 105 f2.4 lens. Will focus confirmation work with this combo? Also how exactly does it work? Do I set the lens at the aperture I want and set the camera shutter speed manually? I plan to use it with my 645N and 645D.

You can use M exposure of course, but also Av (you set the aperture, the camera sets the shutter speed). Metering is with the aperture fully open, and the camera stops the lens down when the shutter is tripped. You do not lose any functionality with the adapter, neither on the 645N, nor on the 645D.

You get focus confirmation like with a 645 A-series lens.

Focus confirmation "works" with the 645D and the metering system defaults to center weighted--I have the 105mm. I have also noticed colors come out a little warmer with auto WB. You can use this lens with manual and aperture priority exposure modes--it does work in program, but obviously the camera does not change the aperture.

Focus confirmation is not really accurate, close, but not always spot on. Fortunately the DoF is so narrow it is not hard to focus.
