I agree anything less than 25% off new there is no incentive for me. mostly i see a lot of items being sold for 10% maybe 15% off even 3 and 4 years out in the case of lenses

all my good deal lenses are ancient, all my other used gear (like my K7 and my sigma 24-70 2.8 ) i think the price was fair to both parties
