It's been one whole year with 645d

And, not much to show for

Inappropriate uses of 645D - a set on Flickr

I have never owned a MF format camera, and I can't quite say I never looked back (cuz I bought M8 too), but I am still enjoying it just as much as the day I got it . . .

I invite other 645d owners to either post a link or pics taken by the "D."

Cheers,

Zygonix, Where the f*** is this face in the world ? because i find it awesome

Fontan, i kinda like the use you do of the 645D, it change from what we usually see. isn't that a bit heavy for day to day shot ?

One of its sculpture, "tindaro bronze (1997)" can be found just near Paris, in la defense.

Try to find it :-)

Ednguyen : the 4th picture remind me a bit of Jessica Rabbit

Great series shown here.
Zygonyx are proof that the 645D is targetted for landscapes, but those portraits of ednguyen proof that the 645D is no slouch in the studio too.

Fontan also showed with its "inappropriate use" that the 645D can be a very good day to day life camera (maybe a bit big thought ?)

OK, pro photogs have a need for the MF Pentax.

You other guys, has it been worth it?

Frankly, not much heavier in combination with lenses, than any gripped D700 / 1D / D3-4

For me yes, just worth the pleasure taken in shooting with it.
After all, when you count the overall costs, MF doesn't exceed a good motorbike/sports car budget, nor any boat/helicopter/plane hobby's expenses...

You know, it is surprisingly "not heavy." I would not call it an ideal street photography, but when traveling far, it is certainly not dreadful to bring it along with a couple lenses.
