Why is it few people in 645 land know about focus trap?

It came out as an accidental feature of the Safox AF engine when AF was introduced to Pentax SLRs. Essentially if you use an manual focus lens and set the camera to AF-S the camera will not fire off a shot unless what the phase detection module sees through the lens is in focus. This allows you to hold the shutter down and rotate the focus ring of a manual focus lens and the camera will fire off the shot the moment the center point is in focus. Essentially making manual focus a lot easier.
