SMC Pentax-DA 645 25mm F4 AL [IF] SDM AW

Does anyone on the forum own this lens ? I'm thinking of purchasing it and would like to get some feedback from someone who is using it.

There's a pretty good review of the one with the smaller hood here:

Thank you, I have read this in the past. What I'm looking for is a review of the updated version. I had the opportunity to shoot with the older model Hark has reviewed at a trade show recently.

larkis, I just bought the older D FA version of the lens from a forum member about two weeks ago. I was unable to find any sort of comparison between the two. Wish I could be of more help. Good luck!

Just curious. What did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking??

I have purchased the lens today and will post some test images and a bit of a review on my blog in the next couple of days.

$4000, used but in like new condition. Came with the box and everything that it originally did.

Thank you, Ryan, for sharing. I say it was a fair price. I am looking to get one in the near future.
