Which 25mm is which?

Read Pentax has a new 2nd gen 25mm. How do I know which is old and new copy?

The old version has a difference hood design and name. No one know what the optical differences are.

I did post some comments a few days ago( in another thread )made by a photographer who tested both versions on the 645D and also the 1st version of the 25mm with a 645 film body.His comments and observations were interesting.

Since they are not both available in all markets, what is the point? Are you really expecting Pentax to say a lens that is not available to you is better than the one that is?
