Paper Pentax 67!

I'm not entirely sure this belongs in this forum, but I figured people here might appreciate this It's a papercraft model of a Pentax 67, scaled down to 75% to take 6x6 images on 120 film. I've only been able to run one roll through it so far, but here are some of the results:

There are still a lot of light leaks to sort out, and I'd like to add textures and details like the strap lugs and shutter release. I wouldn't mind releasing a PDF later if there's enough interest!

Update: There's a PDF of templates further down on the page

I'll certainly provide a link to a PDF once I finish up the templates, maybe in a few days at the earliest. I just need to add on the finishing touches and write up some instructions. Perhaps I'll post pictures as I build the final version so people can follow along.

Top marks for creative spark and ingenuity. This is a gem, just marvellous. Who'd have thought you could replicate a 67 ... in paper!?
With a few more technical tweaks it could well give a pinhole camera a run for its money.

Certainly, it's just one piece that's glued onto the prism. You'd just omit it. A waist-level finder could be an option too. . .

I ran another roll through it after patching up some of the light leaks, with much better results this time

Still working on making that PDF

Here's the LINK to the PDF!

The current revision is "Build 3," which will change as suggestions and refinements roll in. There are currently no instructions, but I'm working on it. I'm going to start building one tonight, and I'll post photos so those interested can follow along

Nice work. I'm still trying to figure out how the film is loaded from just looking at the flat patterns.

It's not obvious The film is loaded through the bottom of the camera. The bottom cover (Page 4, and one piece on Page 1) simply comes away to give you access to the film. You wind it using the knob that would normally control shutter speed under the TTL meter, and a red window in the back gives you the right spacing. I just used some material from a red gel for the red window.

Amazing work, love the photos. What size pinhole do you use?
The leica-style bottom loading is just the perfect solution for this model.

Great job!!
Will certainly try to build one. =)

By the way, the flickr link on the PDF doesn't work.
Do you have a instructions on how to put together? and.... a instruction on how to operate/shooting?

Again, great job for sharing it!

Mine was about 0.3 - 0.4mm. I tried smaller on my first test roll, but I think it was softer due to diffraction.

For some reason, the hyperlink doesn't work (and I don't know how to fix it). But it works if you just type in the URL

And I've been planning on making instructions, but just never found the time to. I'm hoping I can get started on them this weekend!
