Some shots from my recent trip to japan shot on the 645D. Lenses used on the images below are the Pentax DA 25mm f4, 150mm FA 2.8 and the 55mm 2.8.

I love Kyoto! - The bridge shot...
Also, Japanese power lines are crazy!! Hard to believe such a neat society tolerates these electric rats nests in the sky.

Nice pictures. I remeber those generators on poles. In one hotel we had one of those generators right outside the window. Couldn't use the lap top because the electromagnetic field made the screen go nuts!

Nice to see the post resurrected form the ashes. Thanks for the kind words everyone. I brought a ton of pictures back (not all of them shot with the 645D) but to this day I have not gone though all of them. Here are a few more, and they were shot with the 645D. It has almost been a year since I bought the camera and It has been fun clicking around with it. Can't wait to get a hold of the 90mm lens, hopefully it's as good as the 25mm without which many places in Japan become a real challenge to photograph.

Love that shot of the Rainbow Bridge in full glory; the one with the man at the shrine is also very captivating.

Interesting how the images feel so "big" compared to a similar scene shot with a regular Pentax DSLR (not the literally size of the image, but the picture itself).
