Hi Christophe

You have made nice work with the view camera parts and the Apo Digitar. Looks solid and well thought out. And your images nicely show the phantatstic image quality of the Digitar. I simply have an adaptor to mount my Pentax DSLRs on the back of my view cameras, but the whole setup is by far not as elegant and transportable as yours. And of course I do lack the Apo Digitar... Would be great to see some more images taken with the lens, which lends itself for architectural or studio work.

Christophe, Komura made a couple of wide angle LF lenses, the Super W Komura 75/6.3 and 90/6.3, that are more of retrofocus design. You already have a 90mm (and the Komura 90 is huge) but the 75mm is a bit smaller so it may work with your set up. The 75mm will probably require a slightly longer distance to focus at infinity than your current 90mm so it should squeeze in there OK, however I wouldn't expect it to be anywhere near as sharp as your digitar since it was designed to cover 4x5. It is a fairly uncommon lens but not particularly expensive when you do find it - I would expect an EX condition example to cost less than the P67 75mm shift. If you want tilts with 75mm it may be your only option.

Hello,

thank you for your advices,

for the moment I don't really need a wide angle lens for my setup, my pictures are most of the time taken with normal / long lens, even if i have a wide angle in my bag :-)

Hello Christophe,

I'm very interested in the flag you made with the Gorilla pod leg.
What are the parts you used for this?
Do you have a description of how you put this together?

Thanks in advance.

I'm about to change my pentax 645D system for a digital back ( phase one P65+ ), so i think i'll sell the tilt and shift system I made ( including the lens APO DIGITAR 90mm ), so if any body here is interested in buying the tilt/shift adapter , send me an email :-)
