Lens collar for Super Takumar?

I have just got a p67 Super Takumar 55mm f3.5 with a shift adapter so I can use it on my 645 for stitching panoramas. Looks like the best way to do this is by shifting the camera body rather than the lens. But to do this the lens has to be kept in place on the tripod with a lens collar (like a bulldog on a chain), right? So am trying to figure out how this could be done. Does anybody knows of a tripod collar that may fit this superb legacy lens?

You might try one of these:

Orion Telescopes: Search Results on 'telescope tube rings'

Ideally you want a part of the lens that is stationary but for your application, perhaps you can put a tube ring around the focus ring(since they go on and off easily) after you have it focused on your desired point. Get some cheap calipers and measure your lens where you would like to put the tube ring on and with the variety of sizes hopefully there is one to fit your needs. One of the holes on the bottom of the tube ring is threaded for standard 1/4" bolts so a quick release plate should fit nicely.
