Dumb Question......

Sorry....have searched but can not find an answer, and get confused when some manufacturers say their lens fits K mount and 645D.

????????: Is there an adapter that allows K mount lenses (say the DA 14 or FA 43) to be fitted to the 645D....or is it just not possible ?

Thanks.

I'd like to see anyone who claims that, it must be a misprint or someone who is misinformed. There are adapters to mount 67 and 645 lenses on a K mount body, but the other way around would result in vignetting.

Not to mention that a K mount on a 645 couldn't focus to infinity.

Thankyou. Appreciate you all taking the time to respond. I thought that was the case but when you see adverts claiming something else (albeit on ebay....thats why I asked), it can get confusing.

Anyone care to comment on the virtues of the Nikon D600 over the 645D, leaving the obvious price differential alone for now....?

Do you mean the Nikon D800 (36mp) or the Nikon D600 (which I think is around 22mp)? The D800 might be able to come reasonably close to the clarity of the 645D, assuming you're using on the best glass available, but the D600 certainly won't be able to touch it, at least if making large prints or cropping is essential to you.
