Custom 40mm shift lens for 645D

I am pleased to write here for the first time to show you my custom shift lens.
It is based on Bronica ps 40mm lens. I've bought an hartblei 45mm shift only version sometime ago via ebay.
The lens looked great but the image quality was no good. The very left side of the image was terribly soft.
I was doubt for misaligning lens elements so I wrote an e-mail to someone in hartblei.kiev.ua site asking for any
possibility to fix the lens. No response at all even though I was thinking to purchase a new one and this was commented in that mail.

Anyway the shift assembly of the hartblei lens was very helpful for making this custom lens.
The result is much better than hartblei in image quality.
Less distortion, less soft corners, shift within 7-8mm is acceptable.
Only looking strange and working a litte cumbersome.

That is a great idea! Does it work as an adapter, where you could put in other Bronica lenses?

Thank you. The shift assembly has to be combined with bronica 40mm lens completely. It can not be used as an adapter.

So this is the shift and 645-mount part of the original Hartblei permanently attached to the Bronica lens? Very cool, but sounds complicated.

Is there vignetting within the (cropped) 645 frame during shift?

BTW, I'm not surprised at the non-response from Hartblei Ukraine. They were never very communicative, and less so after the German deal.

No vignetting at all. The second image was shifted 10mm upwards and I found the image fine up to 7 to 8mm shift.
This conversion was done in professional machine shop in Korea. The place is much like Zoerk. in Germany but not German quality.
