Where can I get the Circular Polariser for the DA 25 f/4?

My mother in law did a spring clean and threw away the box for the DA 25 which had the circular polariser in it. At the moment, the lens has a UV in it. I bought a Hoya 40.5mm threaded CP but it's too wide to be inserted. Does anyone know where I can get one that is compatible? I'm based in the UK, so UK sources would be best

Thanks in advance!

Hmm.....mother-in-law, you say?

I don't know the UK system well, but would the subsequent divorce be handled by your solicitor or your barrister?

Seriously, I do not know where you'd get the polarizer. My fall-back option for such weird (as in: not sold in usual places) widgets is to contact Pentax and pick it up with next time I'm in Japan. So far, that hasn't failed me

I live in France and will find myself in Tokyo in about a months time. Failing all other options, if you want, contact me privately if you want me to courier stuff back for you?

I purchased a tiffen 3 stop ND filter 40.5mm and it fits just fine into my D FA 25mm. Maybe just purchase another CPL and see if this one fits, if not, send it back. B&H and Adorama both have good return policies.

B&H has a slim 40.5mm, it must be available in Britain. No way to tell if the wheel will engage properly. I use a 49mm slim polarizer in the 645 600mm, a regular one will not fit:

They also have a Pentax 40.5mm listed for the Q.

Thanks guys, and especially to tclausen - a very generous offer. I have ordered two different types from amazon.co.uk including the one suggested by Thomas

Thanks again, will let you know how I get on. We also have Focus on Imaging happening in Birmingham, UK this week, am thinking of going again this year and might try and see there also...

The heliopan one that arrived was marginally too thick, but a Dörr Digiline I ordered did fit nicely.
