i have the FA 35 and FA 33-55 and i have tested both lenses in the f11-f13 and the FA 35 is sharper in the lower corners of the frame. But the FA 33-55 is no slouch really. It is a sharp zoom that has a very useful range for general photography and i would take it over the FA 35 when I'm traveling.. no need to carry two lenses in the same range that produce almost similar results.

Just got the 35mm A and went out 2 miles from my apt to old san juan to shoot the sunset. Loving the lens. (used .6 ND grad and 3 stop ND)

I just got the A 35mm a couple of weeks ago after dreaming of it for a very long time. I traded in my 45mm so now I have the 35mm, 55mm, 75mm, 120mm, 150mm and 200mm. They are all the A series and I don't have any intentions of changing to the FA lenses. I use them with the 645N. On my first day out with the 35mm I took these:
