Praktica sold mirror lenses that covered 6x6 that could be had in a couple of different mounts including their pentacon six. But I've only seen one of them in real life. They would probable be adaptable to pentax 67, 645 or similar.

14) Something must be wrong here! If the 500mm APO does have a focal length of 500mm and the 3M - 3B does have a focal length of 600mm, the angle of view will not be the same. This is based on published data. Actual tests show that the angle of view with the 3M-3B is substantially less than with the Arsat APO MC and Pentacon 500mm lenses. Details of these tests can be seen here.
(15) This lens is extremely rare, and it seems that there were only extremely small production runs of it, often separated by gaps of many years. Between the different production runs, various cosmetic changes were introduced. There may also have been other changes, for instance, to filter sizes.

Hi - someone from this forum sent me a PM related to these lenses and adapters. Please resend - I accidentally deleted it and I am unable to retrieve it.

The message was about adapters for these mirror lenses with P6 mount. There used to be three or four different companies out there that made these adapters, but only one (DVD Technik) is still offering them on ebay. Unfortunately, all of these adapters are somewhat different. There was a cheaper brand that would frequently fall apart after some years of use. DVD Technik adapters are fairly robust, but slightly too thick for the P645D mount. They would fit well on the 645, n, and nii, but are very tight on the 645D. Perhaps removing some of the paint with a solvent would help or polishing them with a Dremel tool. My DVD Technik adapters fit on the 645D, but are a little bit tight as well, but not too bad. Perhaps sample variation. As I mentioned on several occasions, the 645D works very nicely with the Carl Zeiss Jena 1000mm mirror, but there is only one adapter that fits both the Jena and the 645D, and that one is no longer made ... I think the Zoerk adapter might fit as well as I remember that it wasn't too tight.

All of these P6/Kiev mount mirror lenses are fairly uncommon, to answer one of the previous remarks, perhaps production cycles of 50 or so. I like my 500mm/5.6 as it is fairly compact, lightweight, and a good fit together with shorter focal lengths in a bag. Images are fairly sharp as long as the lens is well supported.
