P645NII, 67>645 Adapter, 67 Auto Extension Tubes?

New 645 shooter with 67 experience asks, "In trying out the above with a P67 lens, it looks like the tubes must be set on Manual to get a proper exposure. Is that correct?"

Thanks!

Metering must be done with the lens set to Manual position.

When you say the lens must be set to Manual, do you mean the lever on the extension tube? Sorry if I'm missing something, but the lens I'm using is a manual focus P67 105mm f/2.4.

Again, thank you.

Rob

The Auto Tubes for the 67 allow the diaphragm to stop down to the shooting aperture when the lens auto-manual lever is used in the AUTO position. But to get a correct meter reading, the lens auto- manual lever must be on manual. This is for use on a 67. With your adapter on a 645, I would say meter and shoot with the lens auto-manual lever on manual. I am not familiar with any manual setting on the tubes.

What a kind and helpful reply, thank you!

Of course the lever is on the lens, not the tube. What was I thinking...if anything!?
