165mm LS Cross Section

Very few Pentax 67 lens cross sections can be found these days. Here's what the 165LS looks like-- FYI

The accompanying photographs of that "cross section" are the worst I have seen as examples from the 165LS. Just bloody awful. This lens returns its best imaging quality when used with a tripod. The images shown are inadequate given this lens has stellar performance in contrasty conditions and has very well controlled flare, but hand-holding it is a joke, and don't start me on "oh, I handhold my 165LS every day down to 1/15...". Bleugh—! My biggest print with this lens, razor sharp from corner to corner, is 81x61cm.

Silent St.-- None of the other shots were from that lens nor were they intended to accompany the cross section. The shots were not meant to showcase the sharpness of any of the 67 lenses.
