I currently own the 67, complete with the broom handle grip. I am planning to trade it in and upgrade to the 67ii.
I am aware that the broom handle for the 67ii is different, and appears to have a connection for the flash.

I have two questions.
1. Is the older grip compatible with the 67ii?
2. Does anyone have a definitive list of the differences between the older grip and the newer one?

The three grips are interchangeable between the Pentax 6x7 system camera models.

- 6x7/67 Grip with accessory shoe
- 67II Hotshoe Grip (Comes with a 5P flash cord)
- AF400T 6x7 Flash Grip

The only difference is the 67II hotshoe grip’s flash function will only work on the Pentax 67II. The 67II is the only body that has a 5Psync terminal.

Thanks Phil! So I think I will hang onto the 6x7/67 grip. I don't ever use flash but like the holdability with the grip. But then again I hear that the 67ii is much more comfortable for hand holding as it is... Either way, I'm pretty excited to get the 67ii! As soon as my favorite store has one in stock I will be lugging a bunch of stuff down there for the trade-in!

Yeah the 67II has a built-in grip on the right handed side where the battery compartment is located.

I got my 67II and a 6x7 a couple months back after having just a 67, the 67II is very "modern" compared to the other two.
