If anyone has a moment, I'd like your advice for the best frame to have experimentally drum-scanned? This place does them for £15 which seems reasonable:
Cheap Drum Scanning UK - Large and Medium Format Scans on a Budget
I'd like to use one which would get the best out of a drum-scan.
My thoughts are a well-exposed and focussed colour shot (either neg or slide) - although I am aware that drum-scanning can drag detail from both under- and over-exposed areas which may be useful?
If you have time to kill, all my MF shots are in this set:
Pentax 67 - a set on Flickr
However a couple of my first thoughts are:
Sharp, could pull shadow detail? Superia X-tra 400
Would be an interesting comparison to an identical digital shot? Fuji NPC160
Sharp, shadow detail again, but this time from a transparency? Velvia 100F
Or try another (better) shot, maybe a B/W one?
Penny for your thoughts!
