As a new member, I am not sure if this is the correct forum for my question but it seems like a good place to start!

I will be visiting New York, LA and San Francisco over a two week period in the second half of September and I was wondering if anybody could recommend good places to shop for second hand lenses for the 645D?

Any help would be much appreciated!

welcome to pentax forum.
Im not a 645D user so I have no idea about good spots in NA to get used gear for medium format camera.
Hopefully someone here in the forums can suggest a place.
Also check out the market place on the forum itself, maybe you can find a used lens for your 645d

I'm in San Francisco and there is definitely no good place around here to find 645 lenses. I just bought nine lenses for my 645D and pretty much stuck to pentax forums, KEH, and eBay. I did see there is a 645 lens at camera west in walnut creek but that place is ridiculously overpriced and the people are not friendly. Stick to online searching, I'd say.

The shops in LA have some 645 used lenses , but it is usually beat up pretty good. Often times the shops are getting rid of old rental gear so most of it has had quite a life already. I prefer private sellers off Ebay , who have mint condition gear.

B&H and Adorama in NYC have a good used section in their stores.
