trying to use my tokina 28mm on a Pentax 645...

hey all,

im pretty new to photography and the pentax 645 camera but i recently purchased a tokina 28mm 2.8 lens and ran into some issues when i tried putting it on my camera... it didnt fit! so now i am looking for an adapter that can go on my pentax 645 camera and fit the tokina lens... here are some details:

the back of the tokina lens reads: P/K-A R-P/K

the current lens on my pentax reads: Pentax-A

ive also attached some photos of the lens and my 645.

if someone could link me up to an ebay or amazon product that could do the job i would be forever greatful!!

Your Tokina lens is a K-mount lens, not a medium format lens. It doesn't cover the 645's image circle and is therefore not compatible.

Remove the Ricoh-Pin and this lens should fit to K-Mount AF-bodies.

No need to remove the 'Ricoh' pin. It is not the dangerous type.

No need to keep the lens.

You have a 35mm lens and a medium format camera. Flange distances are different, mount is different, as is the image circle. It is like trying to mount a olympus micro four thirds lens on a Canon slr; impossible.
