Durability of 645D

Hi guys,

Yesterday I dropped my 645d for the third time from about 3 ft.

It is still working flawlessly, and I urge you to test yours to make sure it is as durable as mine.

Football players, particularly receivers use pine tar on their hands rather than butter....

Mine has also proven to be durable - except the supposed weather sealing seems to be a little lacking. Twice it has stopped function (in some respects) with only a moderate exposure to moisture...

Drop from whatever feet but don't drop it on your foot.

LOL! I have already tested mine several times, and can report that durability is fantastic. Also many forms of weather resistance...

First shoot with mine it slipped out of the ballhead on my tripod and fell about 5 feet to asphalt. A scuff on the lens hood and a tiny dent in the mode selection ring are the only problems I saw. It has worked flawlessly since then (over 2 years) and the 120 FA lens that was on it has continued to work well also. (I immediately switched to different QD plates on the camera that take advantage of my ballhead's non slip pin. )
