Ridiculous Question -- But I Can't Find the Answer

I'm a Pentax 67 user and considering buying a Pentax 645 (the first film version). The question I have is -- does it have a metal body or is it plastic? I've never actually seen the camera and I'm afraid the question is so basic that it doesn't get talked about much on the Internet.

Bonus question! I know that the 645D is AF, but do P645 MF lenses work on the digital body (similar to Nikon and its venerable F mount)?

Thanks!

The outer shell is plastic, inside there is quite some metal involved.

The A 645 MF lenses work on the 645D; I never used one so I don't know if there are any restrictions except no AF. By analogy from the 35mm A lenses I would assume not.

Well I own an original 645 (and an original 6x7 as well). I have a friend who has a 645D and all the lenses work just fine. With the appropriate converter, you can mount your 6x7 lenses on a 645 (or 645D) just fine as well.

I use the AF lenses on my 645D and I also have the 120 Macro manual focus version too. With the manual focusing lenses on the 645D the camera's AF system will blink and beep when the camera senses that the lens is in focus. Everything else, including exposure, is the same with the old manual focusing lenses as it is with the latest offerings from Pentax.
