I'm happy I already bought some lenses for 645 and 67, considering the fact digital medium format is getting cheaper, lenses might get more expensive.

It's been two weeks since I started this thread and yesterday the prices were all down to about $3,500.

I am one of those who bought the 645d when it first came out. I don't sweat the new low prices because I got in 3 years of shooting , while others were waiting. as for cheap prices on used lenses, forget it. up until 4 months ago KEH had bunches at good prices even the 35mm . now they have about 8 in total. someone raided the joint. now the ones still out there from other sources have all gone up in price.

Yup. Can't believe my luck, which I usually do not have, to build up my collection before this happened. Once the Z was announced, though, I knew this would happen. This camera is a bigger deal than the D, price of course, but really it's the specs. The specs overall just open up new categories of shooting for the format, and the format for those who have needed the other specs for their shooting.

$3000 is definitely the price point for me. I've already bid on one a $3500 but lost out. $3000 would almost be "no brainer" territory, especially since I already have 75mm and 55 mm A lenses for it. and it would definitely be an A type camera for me.

Another week has passed and today the price was down to $3400 or $3450 depending on the condition.
