I agree completely with Silent Street above. I too have used this system for many years ( since 1988) and since 1998 professionally. I just used it to shoot birds with the 600mm and 2X converter (1200mm) at 1/125 second and no mirror lock up. According to rumor on the internet, this is impossible with this camera. The shutter and mirror vib will ruin the shot. Not so! If I can make a shot like this sharp, you should have no trouble with the 55-100mm zoom or other landscape lens for your work. I use a 7 lb tripod for my shorter lenses and an 11 lb one for the longer lenses.

Mother of God. I imagine such a get-up would be quite a handful...

I bought a Pentax 6x7 MLU coming up on a year ago, mostly for landscape. The vibration issue is a non issue IMO if you use the camera correctly. Use MLU and support it with a good tripod.

I would go P67 over the Bronica, just for the P67 lenses.

Good luck on your auction!

I've had mine for nearly a year too. I'm having problems with the TTL meter working so am looking for a wlf or similar. I've had no problems with it handheld, using it as a normal slr. I've hand held to 1/30 with acceptable results with the 105mm. Probably my favourite camera to use. Big bright finder, positive controls. Sounds like a shotgun under an overpass/bridge!

Silent Street; it is on a tripod so not too difficult. It helps to put pressure on the body during the shot by pulling down on it or up, to reduce vibration.

I have read the Bronica lens are very good quality, so i have never shot with the Pentax and the Bronica to compare, but from what im reading on the net, taken with a grain of salt, that the lenses are very close in quality and results.

I haven't shot the Bronica but I can say that after seeing their lens cross sections, they are in line with what other medium format companies make. The Bronica designs are all familiar types. However, just because Pentax and Bronica use the same design types (Double Gauss, Ernostar etc.) doesn't mean the performance will be the same. The differences will be minor though.
