Wired remote for 645D

I recently purchased a wired remote for my new-to-me 645D and the housing around the plug is slightly too large for it to fit. I could file the sides down probably, but was wondering if anyone has one that works without doing so. I would prefer one that would allow me to do interval shooting as well as the basics. Here is a link to the one I purchased on ebay:
TC C1 Timer Remote Shutter for Pentax K5 K 5 K 7 K7 645D K20D K200D K100D CS 205 | eBay

Thanks,

I have a 645D with a similar remote and the same issue. My solution was to carefully use an Exacto knife to trim the molded insulation around the plug. It now fits perfectly into a space that Pentax must have obviously made very smallish in order to sell their far more expensive Pentax branded remotes. For the $40 I paid for the third party item, I have no problem with modifying it.

Hi
I have a 645D and I use a Pentax wired control. The plug looks a little like a mini RCA jack. It works fine without any changes or modifications. My remote does not have a part number but I think it is a Pentax Cable Switch 205 (Cable Release) - 1.6' (50cm) as sold by B and H Photo.

Thanks for your replies. Looks like I need to do a little whittling.

Elsdad, I would lose the ability to do interval shooting with the CS-205.

agreed, I took a blade to two of my remotes in the same manner. was quick and they both attach and remain seated in the jack just fine

The 645D has a built in intervalometer (up to 999 frames if I recall correctly).

Thanks to all. I thinned down the jack with a knife and it works fine now.
