Your best bet is probably to use a 40.5mm filter. Since the 25mm doesn't have a filter thread in the front, you'd have to come up with a really fancy rig which would probably cause vignetting.

There were some rigs on the market for a couple of other lenses that had the same issue (Sigma 8-16, and I believe the Nikon 14-24). As I recall they were elaborate and expensive, but you could try searching for those and see if they could be altered for the 25. The 8-16 is 75mm diameter and the 25 is 90, so I doubt it, but might be worth a look. Polarizers and ND's should work in the drop-in, but if you want grad ND's you'll need something else.

I have the 25mm DA and have a custom filter holder to allow me to use the 150mm filters designed for use with the Nikon 14-24 lens. The custom holder was built by a firm in the UK (Lee put me onto them and they were willing to do the work only with Lee's approval - so talk to Lee). It works very well, as long as you only use one filter. Stacking two vignettes. That's fine though because I use the internal filter drawer for most filters anyway. Only need it for a grad.

Ed, can you PM the contact of the guy at Lee and the firm?

I also interested in getting a Lee filter holder for the 25mm F4.

Ed would you care to share a photo or two of your custom filter holder? Thanks

My apologies to everyone here for my tardy responding. I have been travelling for much of the last month (showing off new baby to family back in my homeland of England). I will be happy to share pictures and details once I am back in Australia - which is happening shortly :-)

Ed, I would like to see what you made as well. I saw Hark Lee had fashioned one elsewhere in the forum. Thanks

I don't own the 25/4 (actually I don't own any Pentax gear) but could this set up conceivably work?
