This is with the dörr filter: 57 secs at f/25 - it doesn't seem as dark as the Lee 10 stopper, but seems more in line with the normal 10 stopper according to apps

Hi! Where did you purchased that filter? Googling it gives me no useful results.

Thanks!

If Lee is consistent in their manufacturing then from what I can work out with my Big Stopper it's closer to 10 2/3 stops so that makes sense.

I would say you are close as going by Longtime exposure calculator app for iPhone, I always end up underexposed.

I ordered this filter last night, Itshimitis were you happy with the IQ overall and are you able to stack these filters by adding another weaker ND screwed on?

I don't know how I stumbled on to this thread. However 40.5mm is a common size for 35mm RF lenses. I have a bunch of them for B&W and color. Several of my RF lenses are that size. Check the RF forums and web sites. Also I have bought some at the two big camera stores. For eBay and classified ads try searching for "Canon 40.5" or "Leica 40.5".

They would need to be very thin indeed to fit on stacked. The Dörr filter is a good one though....

I got some B+W 40.5 ND filters at B&H. High quality Schott glass and all. Been using B+W filters on lenses for years.
