6x7 CloseUp Lenses

Just inherited two 67mm thread "ASAHI PENTAX 6X7 SMC CLOSE-UP LENS". One says "S82", the other "T132". Are they any good? Are they apochromatic (two element)? Can anyone translate what the S82 and T132 mean? Thanks in advance.

"S" is for standard lenses and "T" is for telephoto, the number is the effective focal length.

S82 is for the 90/2.8 & 105/2.4 lenses.
T132 is for the 150/2.8, 165/2.8 and old 200/4 lenses.

I have both and they work very well.

Phil.

They are probably not apochromatic (three color corrected) and most likely achromatic (two color) with air spaced elements. The 100mm macro does use an APO close up adapter but that is made for that lens only.

I'd be interested in the T132 if you were looking to move it.
Thanks
