Creative Pentax 67 Video

I came across this creative video and article. The 67 looks like such a nice camera.

Pretty cool. Captures some of the appeal of working with a WLF.

They are so affordable now, that you could try one out for yourself!

Great idea! Am I the only viewer that was distracted by the frame counter though... sort of wished it had increased one frame with each scene. And I loved the one clip where the photographer winds it and you hear the click. They should have done that for every clip. [=D>]

It's a beautiful camera, I swear by it. And the 67 is enjoying something of a renaissance among MF format shooters disillusioned with the vast expense of digital.

BTW, I'm not fond of investing in a waist-level finder. I freely flip off the TTL prism and look straight down at the image, metering hand-held. Does the job just fine.

I feel fortunate to have stumbled on, and settled on, 6x7 format as I tried to develop the hobby over past 3 years.

I mostly use old 6x7 Takumar lenses ( 90, 75 & 55)
I am packing for a trip to Australia tomorrow and for the first time, I will take a 6x7 along with the Pentax MX.
Backpack is the problem tonight.
I am packing Ektar 100 and Portra 160
For various reasons I am not taking a Takumar, instead, taking a vintage 1953 2x3 Century with the Graftar 103mm.
Not sure whether the experts would agree, but from my test photos this camera and lens is at least as sharp as the Taks.
I hope to try to learn more about 6x7 photography on my trip.

I see from some search today that the largest Pro digital backs are close to nominal 645, 54 mm by 40 mm , eg the leaf Aptus DM80 and the Phase 1 P65+,
which they call "Lens factor=1.0"
