Hah! Unless that's a Canon or Nikon full frame camera mounted to that drone, it's not a real drone.
What, Sony doesn't count?

Looks great and with the FluCard you can take the images. Was it really up and flying (at least one meter)?
The payload on the Phantom is <400g. The 645Z weighs 1550g, sans lens. Also, note the length of the landing gear compared to the bottom of the camera.

So, either my Phantom is on steroids (), or it's a good actor (). You be the judge.

Thanks for looking.

try overclocking your Phantom (is that even possible) and just use the FA75mm lens Looks great and is fun.

You should really get a K-S1 so you can fly with style
Also the LEDs should be useful for aerial selfies with timer.

Thanks for the offer, but at this point I don't really need ANOTHER camera...
BTW - I always fly with Style.

This makes me want to try Kite Aerial Photography again! Anyone have an old Pentax DSLR/lens combo they want to sell for cheap? I sure as heck don't want to send my K-3 up there!

Does this count as outboard image stabilization? That's ground-breaking technology, especially if it falls.

I think the first Pentax DSLR that had a built in intervalometer (to take timed images while aloft) was the K20D. Those can be found at KEH for ~ $250, lens not included.

It's no 645Z, but I wouldn't hook my 645Z up to a kite.

Ah, good to know, thanks! I think I'll wait until the price drops more, though-- $100 is about the most I'm willing to risk destroying in a dramatic crash, without proof that it'll probably be OK.

Hmmm..................

Heie, I think I have a job for you! Drop tests?
