A Little 645Z Humor

DON"T TRY THIS AT HOME!

Some of you may have seen my posting about https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/147-pentax-mirrorless-cameras/240457-aeri...i-phantom.html. It occurred to me that hanging the 654Z from the Phantom might look a bit humorous. Well here we go. Like I said, don't try this at home, it's a VERY tight squeeze.

Note: No Pentax 645Zs or DJI Phantoms were harmed in the process of creating this image.

???? No LEDs on a 645Z. I assume you misposted from a completely different thread about one of the new cameras the one with green and red LED lights - which Pentax aren't forcing anyone to buy.

@ iCrop:

Man, that takes a lot of nerves to have such an expensive piece of gear floating up there!

Does your insurance carry "airborne crash losses" ?

Good shot of the rig!

That may be the case, but not clear at all, especially as PR have just released a camera with LED lights. A would have made it clear enough.

I thought being so ridiculous was enough.

And that it's well-known I can't stand Pentax.

---------

And that's certainly an impressive capability on behalf of the quad copter - a lot of lift power apparently.

Huh? I detected no sarcasm or ridiculosity whatsoever without the emoticon =

Considering what you do to their stuff in videos and in your travels, that would explain a few things...

Wait... you mean that the helicopter-plane flying thingy is separate from the 645Z??

Does Ricoh expect us to use something as archaic as a tripod to steady this $8500 camera!??!

What's next? Do we have to touch the 645Z to change settings or something??

Hah! Unless that's a Canon or Nikon full frame camera mounted to that drone, it's not a real drone.

OK, you caught me. At the risk of violating the NDA I had to sign, I was testing the new Ricoh Pentax O-LED1, L.E.D. accessory, to give all their cameras the necessary number of L.E.D.s, to meet the new specifications.

Looks great and with the FluCard you can take the images. Was it really up and flying (at least one meter)?
