Not very excited seeing only the zoom updates on the roadmap. Are they going to be as large as the 28-45? Would have hoped for a prime or two.

Also, rumors about the discontinuation of the 25mm in favor of the 28-45mm keep on resurfacing, even though it's on the roadmap. This may be because of the discontinuation of the earlier D-FA version, but I would like to have some definitive answer. Does anyone know? Finally, the 300mm seems to be the F4 and not the F5.6, which is good news, IMHO.

Some are disappointed about Pentax at this year's photokina, but in all fairness, the 645Z certainly is a milestone, and the 28-45 as well. I am happy, in general.

Yes, the road map of only more zooms is not so exciting. Really would like to see one or two faster primes, how about a 40mm f2.2 or a 165mm f2.0 ?

I suspect they will re-release some primes eventually, hopefully the 35mm 3.5, 78mm 2.8 first. How much will they increase the price I wonder? I guess if you have to ask then you cant afford it. I agree that primes are the way to go the 645 system.
