Happy to supply the file, but I am in Outback Australia at present. I just realised the files are at home and I am on the road for 4 months.

You are lucky. The very last thing I did before heading bush was to back up the Pentax files so I had an off site backup. I forgot. Here is the 2 jpgs as extracted from the Pentax DNG. Photos taken with the new HARTBLEI Digital 45mm Super-Rotator Tilt Shift Lens (Medium Format - Pentax Mount). I just took these 2 images and stitched them, then post processed as described above: http://www.users.on.net/~mhains/ocau/Stitch.zip Sorry not enough bandwidth for RAW files. I am in town for one night, then out remote again.

Close to the Pentax 55mm AL (IF) SDM AW that came out with the 645D. Sharper than the Pentax 35mm AL (IF) , at least for my use to date. For what it is worth purported 645Z user posted this review on HARTBLEI site - mirrors my experience: Author: Visitor 07.10.2014 Evaluation: 5 of 5 stars! This lens is extremely well constructed (from metal) and very sharp on my Pentax 645Z. Truly impressive. Can't recommend this lens highly enough, worth every penny.

Hi!
I've been thinking about HARTBLEI Digital 45mm Super-Rotator (new version) for quite some time now, so every sample I find in the Internet is very interesting. Could you, please, post one or two more samples? Frankly, those two files don't look good (to me). I want this lens so very much as I really miss my Canon Tilt-Shift lenses, so I hope it to be at least as good as my Pentax-A 35/3.5. To be more specific below is a link to a full size sample from 35/3.5, I edited and sharpened it little bit before converting from RAW.

645 Tilt Shift

The files I posted were the embedded jpgs in the image. I made no changes, I did pp the original stitched image.

I am still in the Australian outback, so it is not possible to upload more at present. No mobile coverage for last month.

I recently managed to get hold of a HARTBLEI Digital 45mm Super-Rotator Tilt Shift Lens (Medium Format - Pentax Mount). It works great on the Pentax 645Z, I have only done minimal testing so far, but it seems very sharp. Heading off for a major road-trip next week for 4 months. I intend to give it a workout.

Hi, Very interesting thread. I just bought the Hartblei 45mm super-rotator, new version from Vitaliy in the Ukraine. Lens took a few weeks to arrive and when I finally got it I gave it a test. found one side of the frame to be soft and that pretty made it unusable for my purposes. Sent an email to Hartblei and Vitaliy responded right away offering correct the problem. Now it is off to the Ukraine and hopefully it will come back nice & sharp. Thinking that it might be a lens decentering issue.
Here is a link to the test I shot, I do not claim to be an expert at testing lenses, so please bear this in mind when looking these over. Any ideas & suggestions are welcome.

I been using the Hartblei Digital 45mm Super-Rotator (new version) for about two months ago; after hanging out with some 4x5 view camera guys for a weekend. I'm just beginning to understand T/S, but I have to say that I love the image quality of this lens. I have a 35mm A and the 45-85mm FA zoom. The Hartblei is sharper than both of those. I've even entertained selling the 35mm A, as I have not used is since getting the Hartblei.

Thank you for your post, KDINDC! Coud you provide a full size sample of a landscape shot (with or without movements)? It would be very interesting to see this lens in action.

I now have internet again. Anyone who wants to see RAW images taken with the Hartblei send me a private message and I will give you the link.

There are two images, zero position plus shift left. There was no need for a third shot in this photo. Picture of Sir John Gorge, Kimberley, Australia. Two images are about 120 meg, DNG format.

Very low quality stitch, with minimal pp, here.

Got the lens back from Hartbeli and I am sorry to say that this lens does not equal the sharpness of my 35mm SMC Pentax-A 3.5 MF.
Shot side by side at infinity, mirror up & on a tripod. It is sharp at close & medium distance, in the center but falls off at the corners.
At infinity it is soft everywhere at stops 8-32.
Big disappointment for me as I had high hopes for the lens. Must be a sample variation as so meny users report good results. Going to ship it back and request a refund.
