I should point out that both mechanical and electrical technologies have a way of breaking "immediately", with a high percentage of failures happening in the first 5~10% of service life. From an engineering standpoint, if the 645Z's shutter fails within around 5000 actuations, that simply means that it was faulty from the start and its failure was inevitable.
Even if you get a "good" shutter, do note that the mean time before failure for mechanical and electrical devices is spread out fairly evenly, meaning that the shutter is as likely to last twice as long as the rated amount as it is to break before that time. 50k or 100k or any other amount is only the "guarantee", not the actual mechanical tolerance of the product. Think about it - how many shutters and for how long have they tested to get that number? and in which conditions? certainly not nearly enough to produce a meaningful, scientific number, compared to the thousands of cameras out in the wild right now.
