I like your rendition of a smaller Z. Would that work with the existing lenses, I suppose it would just fine.

I would love a smaller version.

Thanks for the review

As a side note, it's the best camera by far that I have ever owned, the easiest to get good results however not perfect.

To be perfect it would have to be smaller as per your image, plus it would have an electronic first curtain shutter and an attachable tilting EVF.

I bought this amazing camera a few months ago and have already taken it on a long trip to Iceland. I've finally complete my review, along with quite a few full resolution samples slices from whole frames, so you can get a clear idea of how these lenses perform on the 51MP sensor: http://thephotofundamentalist.com/?p=2176 Hopefully it will help those considering such a purchase!

I really struggled to find samples from the 28-45mm DA lens on this camera and so have produced quite a large selection of crops and full resolution slices from edge to edge to give an idea of how well it performs (the answer being astonishingly well).

Thank you for well-written review of the Z. It was a joy to read with few practical jokes as well (black stones and sticks...)

I wanted to read your review but the site is no more? Have you moved or terminated it?

Thanks!

Yes, I found, after some googling, a post on DPreview where he said that he shut down he's online activity.

Hi All!

Bought this gem used in a Swedish auction site - actually there are quite a lot of used Z on the market now -and it cannot be said cleralye enough: Absolutely fantastic! To be able to control depth of field so easily and the fantastic resolution is well worth every penny.
