The latest Phase One IQ180 series have sensor size of 44mm by 53.9mm and 80 Mpix.
And they include a live view LCD

My home built cameras for the Takumar 6x7 lenses take the Medium Format 6x7 Rollfilm backs.
-film gate is 58mm x 76.7 mm
(Note the state of the art "Mirrorless" VF!)

I doubt that it is worthwhile for a hobbiest to outlay the value of a new car on a camera back.

Anyway the camera takes excellent photos onto Fuji and Kodak scanned with a PrimeFilmPro120.

or just two 645z size sensors and done.
Two 645z sensors would result in a dslr like 66x44 aspect ratio which may be cropped to a more square image, wasting some of that sensor real estate. A more intriguing option would be a an 88x33 sensor to capture epic panoramic or super cinematic images. However, such a specialty camera which wouldn't work with the P67 based system.

Maybe consider the flip of this.... what others have. Lens adapt the 6x7 and 645 lenses for your favorite flavor of digital camera wether that is mirrorless or DSLR for the time being. Fotodiox makes all kinds of adapters for glass now. I have the Asahi branded 6x7 to PK mounts and that is my magic combo for all my K3 shooting. The image circle is so huge that you get the best part of the lens beam angle, all over the sensor. someday if Ricoh decides go go 24x36 full frame (35mm style) then we still get the benefit.

Care to post a few example shots taken with that?

I think sensors that large will be reserved for and probably only necessary in specialized devices rather than consumer products.
Or cinematography..

If someone like Ebony, Alpa or Sinar could cram that 617 sized sensor in a camera, I think it would become the new holy grail of photography.
